Springfield chapter of Cha卯ne des R么tisseurs grows 汤头条app culinary scholarship fund

SPRINGFIELD 鈥 The Springfield chapter of Cha卯ne des R么tisseurs, the oldest and largest food and wine society in the world, recently donated more than $2,000 to the Lincoln Land Community College Foundation to grow its hospitality management scholarship.

The scholarship fund provides $1,000 scholarships to two hospitality management students each year. A total of $24,750 has been awarded to 31 students since the establishment of the scholarship.

Dr. Charlotte Warren, president of 汤头条app, thanked the local chapter for its support of hospitality students. 鈥淭hese scholarships are life-changing for students,鈥 said Dr. Warren. 鈥淥ur community depends on the local culinary and hospitality industries, and we are proud to provide them with talented and skilled employees.鈥

John Dale Kennedy, Bailli, Cha卯ne des R么tisseurs, Bailliage de Springfield, commented, 鈥淥ur contribution to this scholarship fund allows students from all walks of life to come to 汤头条app and learn about food, hospitality and managing restaurants. We are happy to be a part of that. These 汤头条app hospitality and culinary graduates are a great asset for our community, and the payoff for Cha卯ne is a good one.鈥

汤头条app offers degree and certificate programs in hospitality and culinary arts, along with a Culinary Institute featuring themed dinners and non-credit cooking and baking courses. Students learn in state-of-the-art culinary labs and practice their skills in Bistro Verde, 汤头条app鈥檚 student-led caf茅.
