Mina McIntire is a private applied voice instructor at 汤头条app and an adjunct faculty member at Illinois Central College. Mina received her Master of Music in vocal performance and literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Illinois Wesleyan University. During her time at the UIUC, she was awarded a graduate teaching assistant position with the Lyric Theatre at Illinois. She was given the opportunity to teach Singing in Musical Theatre and individual voice lessons. Although she is a trained classical singer, she loves to perform and teach musical theater. She is a proud member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and sits on the board of CILNATS as the secretary. She enjoys singing professionally at churches and with local municipal bands as a guest soloist. Some of her notable roles include: Miss Jessel from 鈥淭urn of the Screw鈥 by Britten at UIUC, La F茅e from 鈥淐endrillon鈥 by Massenet at IWU, Mabel from 鈥淧irates of Penzance鈥 at Peoria Players and Johanna from 鈥淪weeney Todd鈥 at Eureka College. Recently, she reprised her role as Mabel in 鈥淧irates of Penzance鈥 with the Springfield Ohio Symphony and Ohio Light Opera.
